Pooja Ke Phool is a brand operated by Shree Vachan & Company, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The story of Pooja Ke Phool Agarbatti began in the holy city of Ujjain with a dream, a second-hand cycle, and a borrowed ₹10. This was the humble beginning of our founder, Late Shri Sujan Mal Bohra “Shant”, whose determination and honesty laid the foundation of a fragrance legacy that continues even today.
With the initial amount borrowed from a close friend, he purchased a cycle and raw materials to start manufacturing garam masala. His commitment to purity and quality quickly earned the trust of customers. Soon after, rising demand encouraged him to start manufacturing wax candle sticks, which also achieved notable success.
As customer needs evolved, there was growing demand for agarbatti. With curiosity and a strong willingness to learn, he mastered the art of incense making from a close associate. This marked the birth of a brand that would soon become deeply rooted in devotion and tradition — Pooja Ke Phool.
From Ujjain, the fragrance of Pooja Ke Phool spread rapidly across Madhya Pradesh. By the late 1960s and 1970s, the brand had become a trusted name, known for purity, long-lasting fragrance, traditional craftsmanship and honest pricing. What began with a small loan grew into one of the region’s most respected incense manufacturing units.
SECOND GENERATION – STRENGTHENING THE FOUNDATION
The founder’s son, Shri Vachan Kumar Bohra, joined the business and played a vital role in expanding and strengthening the legacy. With discipline, deep product knowledge and a clear understanding of customer preferences, he helped scale production and introduced several fragrance lines that became highly popular across India.
Under his leadership, Pooja Ke Phool introduced well-known products such as Shipra Ki Shaam, Sugandhim, Pooja Scent, Indradoot, Alok Mogra, Pushp Parag, Suman Saurabh, Mogra and many more. These fragrances found their place in homes, temples and spiritual spaces, earning customer loyalty through consistent quality.
THIRD GENERATION – TRADITION MEETS A NEW ERA
Carrying forward the blessings and hard work of the previous generations, the third generation, Abhishek Bohra , entered the business with renewed energy and modern vision. Growing up within the manufacturing environment, the values of purity, devotion and consistency were deeply ingrained from an early age.
